Week 30: Bike Rides and Back Pains

Surprisingly - the title of this blog has nothing to do with each other!

We have cleared week 30 and are entering week 31...only 8 more weeks to go!  CRAZY!  And no, I'm not bad at math - remember they won't let me go past 39 weeks!!

I went to the chiropractor 3 times this week and was adjusted each time :)  It was AMAZING!  She cracked my back like it has never been cracked before - and let me tell you, when you struggle to twist because of two bodies inside of you - it feels good to have someone do it!  I can honestly say that all day Saturday and Sunday my back has NOT hurt :)  WHOA WHO!

Today Josh and I went on a long bike ride with Callie :)  He obviously pulled her in the Burley - but it was so nice to get out on this gorgeous day and enjoy some quality family time!  We biked to the Dairy Queen - not that far of a bike ride - maybe 3 miles.  But when you are doing it pregnant with twins, it gets tiring.  We had to walk up the last hill on our way home, because my legs were so tired from pedaling this extra weight...and it didn't bother me one bit to admit defeat!  I figured-heck, I made it this far, and I don't want to force myself into labor!!!

After we got home, Josh commented that my stomach was seriously going STRAIGHT out!  We aren't sure if it was from the bike ride, or if it was just more noticeable in my clothing selection - which was ALL non-maternity :)

Okay - onto some baby facts:
Nothing too exciting - sorry!  Still weighing in about 3 pounds - which they will both start gaining 1/2 pound per week for the next 7 weeks...
Do the math people - that means I'm going to get MUCH larger than the above picture!

Their brains are really starting to form, and I am almost convinced that they will come out already being able to sing their ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle - why you ask?  Because if it's not Callie singing it - then it's Josh or myself singing it to her :)  They are her songs of choice :)

I love that Callie wanted in on the belly shot this week :)

Stretchmarks - bring it on - I consider them beauty marks :)  Because my children are beautiful, intelligent and unbelievably fun!  I'm proud to wear them (but seriously - they do make me feel really huge right now - this is my way of feeling better about myself!)

Ultra sound this week...stay tuned :)
