Cinderella

My mom recently won tickets to see the play "Cinderella" put on by The Children's Theater!  Callie was so excited and ready for this amazing evening :)  My mom won the tickets from the blog: Minnesota Baby!

I can't remember the last time I was at The Children's Theater, but boy was it beautiful!

The displays they had scattered around were remarkable :)

Callie kept turning her head saying "over there, look at that..."

We finally got to go into the theater and take our seats!  Callie looks like she's meant to be on that big stage!

Killing time during intermission with Gramma :)

Kisses for the woman who brought us to this amazingly funny play :)  Thank you for winning tickets, mom!

Cinderella was played by an African American woman, not your typical "Cinderella"...Callie questioned it at first, but quickly forgot about it and moved on to something else!

At the end of the show, Callie was able to dance with some of the actors :)  She loved this!

It was so neat, during this part of the evening, a woman came up to me and asked if she was my daughter.  I replied by telling her that she was.  She then informed me that she was sitting in our same row, just down a ways and was watching Callie through the whole performance.  She said that her daughter used to do the same thing.  Finally, she concluded by telling me that her daughter was the assistant director for the play...WOW - that's awesome!!!

Goldy, meet the McRae Family

Goldy came to the Mall of America back in early November, so we took the time to go up and meet him!  Of course we were all decked out in our Gopher attire and loving every minute of it!  My mom joined me to help with the kids (3 little's in the Mall of America is just not safe...), and daddy joined us shortly after.

It was better than I imagined it - Goldy spent so much time with my kids.  I'm sure he was totally annoyed of them too...they were chasing him around the store, knocking stuff over, dumping the crayons - it was chaotic, but the memories are priceless, so I don't care :)

Goldy was trying to help Callie color - which she started out shy, but quickly turned on her charm :)

The kids all got free gopher call squeekers too :)  Plus we all entered into a drawing and guess what...We later found out that Callie won a $25.00 gift card to Goldy's Locker Room :)  Way to go Callie!

The boys sure loved playing with him!

 Playing peek-a-boo with Collin :)

He chased Carter around the store until he cornered Carter...man was that funny to watch :)

LOVE HIM!

Ah - so sweet!

Picture perfect photo of Callie & Goldy!

Hey look - Daddy showed up :)  And he has a sign that says "Hello Green Gophers!"  That is his classroom...the Green Gophers!  How cool is this picture!

New BFF for her!

 Collin and Goldy!

I think I would like to print each of these and frame them in the boy's bedroom!

Carter looks like he was crying, but here he had his hands up to his face (obviously) and was scrunching his nose!  He was laughing :)

Family photo :)

Gramma had her picture taken with Goldy!!!!

Uh-Oh Grampa - you better watch out :)  Goldy is putting the moves on Gramma!!!!

And one last kiss goodbye :) This picture is so sweet!

Trick or Treating 2013

Halloween 2013 :)  We dressed Family Themed!  Callie said she wanted to be Ariel, then we asked her who each of us should dress up as and ... well, you can see for yourself :)

Daddy was Prince Eric and had his friend Max with him!
Mommy was Ursula and had Flotsum and Jetsum with her!
Callie was The Little Mermaid: Ariel and she had her friend Scuttle with!
Collin was Ariel's best friend, Flounder
and Carter was Sebastian

These costumes were PERFECT - could not have been happier with how these turned out :)

My beautiful children :)

Time to go trick-or-treating to our friend's house :)

Callie and her BFF Colie :)

Callie & Colie in their costumes!

Looking for yet ANOTHER sucker!

As tradition holds true, we attended the Halloween Trick or Treating at the retirement home!  The boys were loving getting all the candy while Callie was really shy this year.

That's okay with me though - less candy we have to eat get rid of :)

Callie & Collin entertaining one of the residence :)

Collin loving up on the grandmas!

A fun visit to the Colliers!  This is always a fun stop, because we love seeing Bob & Kelly :)

We stopped at the Schwab's house - like we do every Halloween!  This year they had a beautiful pumpkin carved out in honor of Lauren.  She is truly missed and we think about her often!  We love you Schwab Family!  Thank you for allowing us to stop over and visit :)

Carter & his new buddy, Pat!

This is not just Callie's stash this year; however, this is a TON of candy...too much!  Next year, hopefully the boys will be old enough to sit for a picture with each of their pumpkins full of candy!
